Are you heading to Utah to find the best beers and breweries in the state? Where are the best breweries in Utah? The state’s beer scene is both young and seasoned with new and old breweries that are pushing the limits of craft beer in a state with some old-time beer laws.
There are 30 breweries in Utah with the first being Wasatch Brewery, founded in 1986. Epic Brewing Company and Red Rock Brewing Company are the most notable breweries in Utah. Many Utah breweries have dealt with prohibition-era laws, including one that limits draft beer to 5% ABV. To get anything higher gravity, you’ll need to buy a bottle.
With more brewing heritage in Utah than people might think, the number of breweries in the state is impressive. Each has its staple beers with a mix of seasonals to try throughout the year. For more information on each brewery, continue reading – we’ll cover the best breweries in Utah by city.
